consultants have been involved in supporting BG Group for over six years
Recent projects include advising on a strategy for the group property and
facilities management operations in the UK, and providing technical support
during tendering of a new contractor arrangement
The strategy is designed to achieve better control of supplier services and
creates a framework under which BG Group can freely add more delegated
services (beyond the current 41 service lines). This applies not only in
the UK but also at BG Group offices overseas
The strategy has been followed by a major service contract procurement
project, undertaken in association with the Company’s Contracts &
Procurement department, and tendered to meet EU Procurement Regulation
requirements
BG Group has achieved a supplier selection process that meets its contract
strategy, and a contract strategy that meets its business objectives
